A recent developer update highlighted extensive PC optimization efforts. BioWare invested approximately 200,000 hours in performance and compatibility testing—40% of their total platform testing—to ensure a smooth experience. Further, nearly 10,000 hours were dedicated to user research, refining controls and UI across various configurations.
The result? The Veilguard boasts native support for PS5 DualSense controllers (with haptic feedback), Xbox controllers, and keyboard/mouse setups, allowing seamless switching between them. Customizable class-specific keybinds offer personalized control. Visual fidelity is enhanced with support for 21:9 ultrawide displays, a cinematic aspect ratio toggle, adjustable field of view (FOV), uncapped frame rates, full HDR support, and ray tracing.
