"The Exit 8: 3D Liminal Space Simulator Now on Android!"

The Exit 8 has now made its way to Android devices, offering a unique blend of elements for just $3.99. Developed by Kotake Create and published by Playism, this game is not your typical walking simulator; it's infused with an eerie atmosphere that will have you questioning each step you take.
A Creepy Walking Adventure
In The Exit 8, players navigate through what appears to be an endless underground passageway reminiscent of a Japanese metro station. You find yourself trapped in a repetitive loop where the tiles, lights, posters, and even the solitary man walking toward you seem to endlessly repeat.
The core challenge is to spot anomalies. These could be as subtle as a poster with a different graphic, lights flickering more than usual, or as blatant as a river of blood replacing the floor. The game's central mechanic revolves around observing these slight changes and responding quickly.
If you notice something out of the ordinary, you must turn back. If not, you continue forward. The objective is to reach the eighth exit without making a mistake, which means correctly spotting and reacting to anomalies eight consecutive times. Fail to do so, and you'll have to start over.
The Exit 8 Lets You Soak in a Surreal, Unsettling Atmosphere
Inspired by the concept of liminal spaces and the Backrooms, The Exit 8's design mirrors real Japanese metro stations, such as Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station in Tokyo. The game captures the claustrophobic essence of these corridors and their repetitive architecture.
Players are encouraged to engage actively with their environment, scrutinizing every detail for signs of danger or shifts in reality. This constant questioning of your memory and perception ensures that each playthrough feels uniquely unsettling.
Initially released for PC in November 2023, The Exit 8 took about nine months to develop. Following its launch, it achieved 1.4 million downloads worldwide on Steam. Now available on mobile, you can download it from the Google Play Store.
