How to Extract Items in R.E.P.O.

In R.E.P.O., a cooperative horror game, players embark on missions to retrieve valuable items while evading relentless monsters. The ultimate objective is simple: collect the loot and survive. However, surviving requires strategy and skill, especially when dealing with unpredictable AI Taxman and ever-present threats lurking in every corner.

The game rewards players who manage to escape with their treasures intact, allowing them to purchase essential survival gear with their hard-earned cash. To secure these valuable items, players must locate and reach the Extraction Point, where their C.A.R.T. of treasures is tallied and exchanged for cash. Successfully reaching the Service Station ensures access to resources needed for future challenges.

As you advance through R.E.P.O., navigating the Extraction Process becomes increasingly intuitive. Initially daunting, mastering this mechanic soon becomes second nature, thanks to repeated exposure to higher difficulty levels and tougher enemies.

Mastering the Extraction Process in R.E.P.O.

At the start of your journey, you'll encounter just one Extraction Point located close to your R.E.P.O. truck. This spot remains constant throughout your initial attempts. However, subsequent locations introduce multiple Extraction Points, with a maximum of four available per level. Keep track of your progress by observing the red counter displayed in the upper-right corner of your screen, indicating both total Extraction Points and those already completed.

Upon delivering your first load, the game introduces complexity. Without knowing the exact amount the Taxman demands or the precise location of the next Extraction Point, players rely heavily on their in-game map. Pressing "Tab" reveals unexplored areas, enabling strategic route planning and coordinated efforts among teammates. Exploring as much territory simultaneously as possible increases efficiency.

Locating the next Extraction Point often occurs visually or audibly. Once identified, activating the red button confirms your success. Ensure all collected items fall within the designated gray area to avoid destruction. Upon completion, proceed to the next Extraction Point—or head back to safety, depending on remaining objectives.

Remember, after discovering the final Extraction Point, there's no need to return the C.A.R.T. to the truck. A fresh one spawns automatically in the next level, streamlining your progression.

With this knowledge under your belt, dive deeper into R.E.P.O. with confidence. Stay tuned for additional guides covering various aspects of the game!
