Rebel Wolves, founded by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, previously the game director for The Witcher 3 and co-director for Cyberpunk 2077, has announced its dark fantasy action-RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker, set for release in 2026.

During the recent Xbox Games Showcase, Rebel Wolves unveiled pre-beta gameplay footage featuring Coen, a young man transformed into a Dawnwalker—human by day, vampire by night—as he adapts to his newfound powers.

More details are coming soon. On June 21, Rebel Wolves will host a special event on the summer solstice, when "the boundary between day and night fades, yielding surprising twists." This 45-minute presentation will showcase 15 minutes of fresh gameplay, paired with in-depth developer insights.

The event will also highlight "core gameplay mechanics," including a dynamic combat system that fuses swordplay, magic, and vampiric abilities. Players will explore Vale Sangora’s diverse settings and discover how day and night cycles shape the narrative and gameplay experience.

"It’s been thrilling to share more of our vision, and I’m grateful for our community’s unwavering support," said Tomaszkiewicz. "When we first teased the game in January, we committed to revealing gameplay this summer—and that time is here."

In The Blood of Dawnwalker, you control Coen, a young man caught between humanity and vampirism. With only 30 days to save his family or seek vengeance on his creator, players face a moral dilemma: is sacrificing your humanity worth the cost to protect those you love?
