Eye of the Dragon: New Monster-Filled Maze DLC Added to Fighting Fantasy Classics
Tin Man Games has just enriched the Fighting Fantasy Classics collection with the addition of Eye of the Dragon, now available across all major digital platforms including Android, iOS, and Steam for both PC and Mac. If you're a fan of retro dungeon crawls, this game is a delightful throwback that you won't want to miss.
This Is Its Official Digital Debut!
For the first time since 2010, Eye of the Dragon is accessible digitally. Penned by Ian Livingstone, the co-creator of the series, this title originally hit the shelves in 2005 during the Wizard Books revival. Interestingly, its origins trace back to a mini-adventure featured in Dicing with Dragons. With this release, Eye of the Dragon proudly takes its place as the 19th entry in the Fighting Fantasy Classics library.
In Eye of the Dragon, you're plunged into a thrilling adventure beneath the ominous Darkwood Forest, navigating a monster-filled maze in search of the legendary Golden Dragon, the most coveted treasure in Allansia. Your quest begins in a tavern in Fang, where a mysterious stranger presents you with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity—albeit one that involves drinking a potentially lethal potion.
The dungeon is teeming with peril and riches, from deadly traps and magical artifacts to scattered jewels and creatures eager to sink their teeth into you. Along the way, you'll encounter an imprisoned dwarf who might prove to be more than just a typical non-player character.
Eye of the Dragon in Fighting Fantasy Classics Isn’t Just a Static Copy of the Book
Tin Man Games has enhanced this digital version with numerous player-friendly features. You can choose from adjustable difficulty settings and opt for a Free Read mode if you prefer to explore without engaging in combat. An auto-mapping feature ensures you won't lose your way in the labyrinth, while unlimited bookmarks and an integrated adventure sheet keep track of your stats and inventory effortlessly.
Eye of the Dragon now stands alongside other classics in the series such as The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Deathtrap Dungeon, Assassins of Allansia, The Port of Peril, and more, including Bloodbones, Forest of Doom, House of Hell, and Trial of Champions.
Tin Man Games isn't stopping here; they have more titles in the pipeline. Be sure to explore Fighting Fantasy Classics on the Google Play Store. And while you're at it, don't forget to check out our coverage of Pikmin Bloom's Earth Day Event for more gaming news.
