A familiar face (or should we say, mask?) to veteran Sims players, Robin Banks returns in the latest update for The Sims 4, available now on PC and consoles. Get ready to safeguard your Sim's valuables, because she's on the prowl! This notorious thief typically operates under the cover of night, targeting homes while Sims slumber. However, don't be lulled into a false sense of security—she's been known to attempt daring daylight heists! Keep a watchful eye on your Sim's possessions.

To thwart Robin's schemes, equip your home with a burglar alarm. Triggering the alarm guarantees a swift police response, leading to Robin's arrest and the recovery of your stolen goods. Even without an alarm, a quick call to the authorities might still save the day. Or, if your Sim feels particularly adventurous… well, vigilante justice is always an option.

The Sims team expressed their excitement about bringing the Burglar back, calling it a nostalgic yet fresh addition to celebrate the franchise's 25th anniversary. They hope players enjoy the chaos Robin Banks brings to their households.

Despite being over a decade old (The Sims 4 itself, and 25 years for the franchise), The Sims 4 continues to thrive. Last year alone, it attracted over 15 million new players. EA's Q2 earnings report highlighted the game's remarkable growth, transitioning from a premium title to a free-to-play model in 2022. This shift resulted in a massive influx of 31 million new players, boosting the total player count to 85 million by May 2024. And for those wondering, there are currently no plans for The Sims 5.
