In a conversation with MinnMax, Fares revealed that Split Fiction's core narrative clocks in at approximately 12-14 hours, mirroring the playtime of its acclaimed predecessor, It Takes Two. With optional missions and bonus content included, players can anticipate a total playtime of 16-17 hours.

While Hazelight's expertise lies in crafting exceptional co-op experiences, Fares hinted at the potential for future single-player ventures. He also shared that Split Fiction's budget is double that of It Takes Two, yet the studio has deliberately chosen to forgo post-launch DLC, ensuring all features are available from the game's release.
