Resolve the Prochek and Olbram Feud in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's "Battle of the Frogs and Mice"

Prochek and Olbram's conflict will continue unless you intervene. Here's how to end their feud during the "Battle of the Frogs and Mice" side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Starting the Quest:

Complete either the Frogs or Mice quests for Prochek or Olbram. This unlocks "Battle of the Frogs and Mice." Speak to Prochek in Tachov or Olbram in Zhelejov to initiate the quest. Proceed to the pasture.

Should You Side With Prochek or Olbram?

You can choose a side, but a better outcome exists. Siding with one involves telling them "Let's get those Zhelejovites!" (Prochek) or "Let's go and see those Tachovites!" (Olbram). A successful dialogue check during negotiations might cause an enemy to flee, simplifying the fight. Victory grants groschen.

Ending the Feud:

Before going to the pasture, ask Prochek or Olbram about ending the feud. Then, talk to Bailiff Thrush in Troskowitz. Select the dialogue option, "You’d finally have some peace."

A successful dialogue check allows you to read the Troskowitz Chronicle in the scribe's room (or sneak in if you fail). Speak with the scribe and choose, "Fecit, ordinem in regione ope clavi ferrei."

Locate three oak trees in the pasture. Examine the middle tree to find a nail. You can:

• Leave the nail: Equally divides the pasture.
• Place it in the west tree: Favors Tachov.
• Place it in the east tree: Favors Zhelejov.

The choice is largely inconsequential. After placing the nail, speak with Bailiff Thrush; he'll agree to end the feud. Inform Prochek or Olbram, and the feud ends.
