If there's anything you can say about developer Big Duck Games, it's that they seem to know when they find a niche that works for them. Case in point, the release of Flow Free: Shapes, the latest game in their Flow series.

How does it work? Simple, it's a pipe puzzle. Well okay, it's slightly more complicated. But essentially it boils down to connecting different lines of distinct colours to accomplish one of the titular flows. You complete levels by ensuring all the flows are connected without any overlap.

Flow Free: Shapes is part of an ongoing series, which includes subtitles such as Bridges, Hexes and Warps. And as you might expect, the core conceit of this entry is that you're directing your flows around differing shapes. Boasting over 4000 free puzzles, you can also test your wits against Time Trial mode, or try out newly-added Daily Puzzles.

There's very little to say about Flow Free: Shapes but in a good way. This is exactly what you would expect by the name; the Flow Free format but now using grids designed around shapes. However, this does bring me to my only gripe, that being that it feels a bit asinine to split up a series like this into different entries depending on the format.

But at the same time, that doesn't say anything about the quality of Flow Free: Shapes. So if you're hungry for more Flow Free, you'll find this on iOS and Android right now.
