All Forgotten Altar (Lost Power) Locations in Diablo 4
Uncover the Secrets of Diablo 4's Forgotten Altars and Lost Powers
The Season of the Maelstrom introduces Witchcraft Powers in Diablo 4, drawing inspiration from fantasy series like Harry Potter and The Witcher. Mastering these powers requires dedication, and a key element is locating the elusive Forgotten Altars. This guide reveals their secrets and the potent Lost Powers they unlock.
Unlocking Witchcraft's Potential
The Witchcraft skill tree boasts three branches – Eldritch, Psyche, and Growth & Decay – each focusing on a unique aspect of occult magic. To access these abilities, you must gain favor with The Coven by completing missions and earning Restless Rot. This progress allows you to upgrade Altars near the Tree of Whispers. However, beyond the standard Altars lie the Forgotten Altars, offering incredibly powerful Lost Powers.
The Challenge of Finding Forgotten Altars
Unlike their counterparts, Forgotten Altars don't have fixed locations. They randomly spawn within Sanctuary's dungeons. While the season's questline will already send you into numerous dungeons, finding them may require some exploration. The reward, however, is well worth the effort, as Lost Powers are among the game's most potent abilities.
