Oni Masks are exclusive to Fortnite Hunters, each imbued with mystical powers that enhance either offensive or defensive capabilities. The Fire Oni Mask and the Void Oni Mask are key items designed to help players secure a Victory Royale. Here’s a comprehensive guide to all Oni Masks in Fortnite and the various methods to obtain them.

This guide has been refreshed to include how to acquire Oni Masks from Daigo, as well as a new, reliable location that guarantees both Oni Masks every time.

All Oni Masks & How To Use Them

Void Oni Mask

The Void Oni Mask stands out as a premier choice in Fortnite, offering exceptional mobility. Players can throw a Void Tear using the Shoot Button and then teleport to its location by using the Aim Button while the mask is equipped. The Epic Variant of the Void Oni Mask provides 15 uses with a 5-second cooldown, while the Mythic Void Oni Mask offers an impressive 50 uses.

Fire Oni Mask

In contrast, the Fire Oni Mask is geared towards dealing damage. By pressing the Fire Button, players can launch a guided flame projectile that inflicts 100 damage to any opponent it strikes. This projectile can also hit multiple opponents if they are clustered together. The Fire Oni Mask has 8 uses with an 8-second cooldown, while the Mythic variant increases this to 16 uses.

How To Get Oni Masks in Fortnite

Searching Elemental Chests

The most direct way to acquire Oni Masks is by looting Elemental Chests. These chests guarantee an elemental item, including both Boons and Oni Masks. Both the Void and Fire Oni Masks can be found this way, though it requires a bit of luck. Elemental Chests are scattered across the Fortnite island, with named Points of Interest (POIs) offering the best chances of finding one.

Defeating Demon Warriors

Another method to obtain Oni Masks is by defeating Demon Warriors, located at designated spots marked by an Oni Mask icon on the map. Although Demon Warriors do not always drop an Oni Mask, they can yield either a Void or Fire Oni Mask, depending on what they are wielding. Additionally, they may drop Typhoon Blades and a Fire or Void Boon.

Searching Chests

Beyond battling bosses and looting Elemental Chests, Oni Masks can also be found in regular Chests. All Chests have a chance to drop both the Fire and Void Oni Masks at Epic Rarity, though this method relies heavily on luck.

Purchase From Daigon

For guaranteed acquisition of both Oni Masks, players can purchase them from Daigo at Masked Meadows using Gold Bars. Both the Void and Fire Oni Masks are available for purchase, but players must first complete all stages of Daigo's Mask Expertise Quests to unlock this option.

Loot From Daigon's Hidden Workshop

For those who want to bypass the quest requirement, there’s another surefire way to obtain both masks. By heading to Daigon's hidden workshop, located beneath the building on the north side of Masked Meadows, players can find a machine with both masks attached. This machine functions like a regular chest, dispensing both the Void and Fire Oni Masks.

Defeating Bosses (Mythic Oni Masks Only)

To acquire the Mythic Oni Masks, players must challenge specific bosses. The Mythic Void Oni Mask is dropped by Night Rose at Demon's Dojo, while the Mythic Fire Oni Mask requires defeating Shogun X at Shogun's Arena. These Mythic masks function similarly to their Epic counterparts but offer more uses.
