Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 introduces Sprites, ethereal beings offering players helpful items and abilities. The Earth Sprite, the most beneficial but elusive, is found only on the new Chapter 6 map in Battle Royale, Zero Build, and Ranked modes.

Earth Sprite Locations:

The Earth Sprite spawns in only two of approximately two dozen potential locations per match. These locations are typically marked by a solitary lantern. Finding one requires checking multiple potential spawn points.

A comprehensive map, as shown above, pinpoints these locations: North of Flooded Frogs, Northeast of Magic Mosses, North of Demon’s Dojo, Southeast of Whiffy Warf, Southwest of Flooded Frogs, West of Magic Mosses, Southeast of Pumped Power, Southeast of Twinkle Terrace, South of Lost Lake, South of Brutal Boxcars, East where green and brown biomes meet, Northwest of Shining Span, West of Seaport City, North of Burd, East of Warriors Watch & South of Foxy Floodgate, West of Canyon Crossing (two locations, one atop a snowy mountain, one below), between Masked Meadows and Hopeful Heights, and three locations North and Northeast of Hopeful Heights towards Seaport City & Shining Span.

Giving Weapons to the Earth Sprite:

Locating the Sprite is the challenge. Once found, simply interact with it (using the interact button). This will relinquish your currently held weapon, which is then replaced with a random Legendary weapon, completing the Week 1 Quest and awarding 25,000 XP. While time-consuming, the high-rarity weapon reward makes the effort worthwhile.
