The blacksmith's forge is located in Tachov, north of Troskowitz, where the prologue concludes. Head west from Troskowitz, following the path as it curves north. While you can purchase the Dogwood Village Bow from Huntsman's Son Vitek in Tachov, it's not the most powerful ranged weapon, and certainly not worth the price when a free alternative is so close at hand. However, Vitek also sells superior weapons, and you can earn money through alchemy by collecting herbs and brewing potions.

Regardless of whether you choose the free bow or opt for a different weapon later, having a ranged option significantly enhances gameplay, especially for those who prefer a ranged combat style. *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*'s combat, while similar to the first game, may not suit all players.
