In Freedom Wars Remastered, the Cell Garden emerges as a pivotal area within your Panopticon that you'll encounter early in the main storyline. This serene sanctuary not only plays a key role in your initial quests but also serves as a safer venue for resource farming compared to the dangers of operations outside.

Throughout the game, multiple Cell Gardens await discovery, yet the method to find each remains consistent across different levels. Let's delve into how to locate any Cell Garden and understand its mechanics for optimal resource gathering.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered

Your journey to the Cell Garden begins with a mission from Mattias, who sends you on a quest to explore the ghost girl story he's heard. To reach the Cell Garden, navigate to the main cell block of Level 2: 2-A000. From your cell, glance to the left corner of the block where you'll spot a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with this room to transport to 2-E165, the same location where you encountered Enzo.

Upon arriving at 2-E165, veer right and follow the wall to another small room housing a device that will whisk you away to 2-G100. The final step involves entering the far room in 2-G100, which houses the device leading directly to the Cell Garden.

This sequence to access the Cell Garden is uniform across all levels. To expedite your travels, consider unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement, significantly reducing the trek to this valuable resource area. After you've completed the main quest related to the Cell Garden, you're free to visit it at your leisure or explore other Cell Gardens. However, securing a particular Entitlement beforehand can enhance your experience.

Each device leading to the next room or the Cell Garden is distinctly marked with a blue door icon, making your navigation straightforward.

How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered

The Cell Garden's role shifts once you've navigated its depths during the main story mission. Outside of that initial quest, the Cell Garden operates with a different set of rules:

  • You're granted a mere one minute before being ejected from the area.
  • The room's layout changes with every visit, keeping you on your toes.
  • Scattered across the room, you'll find eight resources in the form of small green orbs, ready for collection.

To extend your stay in the Cell Garden, consider purchasing Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These can significantly increase your time inside, with the first upgrade allowing a two-minute stay, available after reaching CODE level 3. This is especially useful as some layouts feature complex puzzles that demand more time to solve and gather resources efficiently.
