The God of War TV adaptation undergoes significant restructuring after series showrunner Rafe Judkins and executive producers Hawk Ostby and Mark Fergus exited the project. Reports indicate completed scripts exist, yet Sony and Amazon opted for a fresh creative vision.

Cory Barlog (Santa Monica Studio's Creative Director) continues as executive producer alongside PlayStation Productions' Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan, Vertigo's Roy Lee, and Santa Monica Studio's Yumi Yang. Currently, Amazon and Sony seek new leadership to steer the rebooted project.
