Following the success of Godzilla vs. Fantastic Four and Godzilla vs. Hulk, this new comic throws Spider-Man into the fray. Set in the 1980s, shortly after Secret Wars, the story finds Peter Parker grappling with the symbiote suit. He'll need all his newfound abilities to face the King of the Monsters.

Joe Kelly, the writer behind Marvel's upcoming Amazing Spider-Man relaunch, pens the script. Nick Bradshaw (known for Wolverine and the X-Men) provides the art, with cover art contributions from Bradshaw, Lee Garbett, and Greg Land.

Kelly states, "This book is a chance to go wild with two iconic characters, capturing the 80s vibe. Nick Bradshaw perfectly balances the absurdity with the gravity these characters deserve. It's a love letter with an earth-shattering roar!"

This isn't the first superhero-Godzilla clash; DC's Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong series (with a sequel planned) features the MonsterVerse versions. Marvel's series, however, focuses on Toho's classic Godzilla.

This announcement follows the reveal of IDW's Godzilla vs. Los Angeles, a charity anthology.
