The beloved survival horror classics, Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2, have roared back to life with re-releases on PC through GOG. These iconic PlayStation titles, originally launched in 1999 and 2000 respectively, are now available DRM-free on the CD Projekt-owned platform, preserving their original content as part of GOG's Preservation Program. While Dino Crisis 3 was exclusive to the original Xbox in 2003, fans have been left without a new installment in the series since then.

Despite fans' hopes for a revival or HD remake, Capcom has shown little interest in bringing back Dino Crisis. The release of Exoprimal in 2022, a multiplayer action game featuring dinosaurs, was perceived by many as the final nail in the coffin for the series. Furthermore, Dino Crisis creator Shinji Mikami commented last year that the success of Capcom’s Monster Hunter franchise leaves little room for a reboot or remake.
