Greenhouse Capacity in Stardew Valley: How Many Plants?
For those seasoned Stardew Valley farmers looking to breathe new life into their family farm, the Greenhouse is a pivotal asset. Here's a detailed look at how many plants you can cultivate in your Greenhouse.
What Is the Greenhouse in Stardew Valley?
The Greenhouse, unlockable by completing the Pantry bundles in the Community Centre or through the Joja Community Development Form, is a game-changer for your farm. Once restored overnight after completing those bundles, it becomes your sanctuary from seasonal crop limitations. With the ability to grow any plant from any season, including fruit trees, the Greenhouse offers year-round access to lucrative crops, especially those that yield multiple times. These plants will keep producing gold as long as they remain in the Greenhouse.

Inside, you'll find space around the perimeter for trees, chests, and essential equipment like Seed Makers. The central area consists of 10 rows and 12 columns of tillable land. However, the Greenhouse's plant capacity can vary based on whether you use Sprinklers.

How Many Plants Can the Greenhouse Hold in Stardew Valley?
Without Sprinklers, the inner section can hold up to 120 crops, with room for 18 fruit trees around the edges. Fruit trees don't require watering and will flourish as long as there's adequate space between them.
Utilizing Sprinklers changes the game. These time-saving devices allow you to focus on other tasks around Pelican Town. Depending on the type and placement of Sprinklers (which can also be positioned on the wooden border), here's what you'll need to cover the entire inner section:
- Sixteen Quality Sprinklers, taking up twelve inner tiles.
- Six Iridium Sprinklers, taking up four inner tiles.
- Four Iridium Sprinklers with Pressure Nozzles, taking up two inner tiles.
- Five Iridium Sprinklers with Pressure Nozzles, taking up one inner tile.

With strategic planning, the Greenhouse can significantly enhance your farm's productivity, allowing you to grow up to 120 crops year-round.
And that's how many plants the Greenhouse can hold in Stardew Valley.
