Leslie Benzies, the mastermind behind iconic titles such as Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption, is gearing up to unveil his latest creation, MindsEye. This highly anticipated game recently showcased a fresh perspective during the PlayStation State of Play.

In the newly released trailer for MindsEye, fans were treated to a glimpse of this cutting-edge spy thriller, which bears striking similarities to the beloved Grand Theft Auto series. MindsEye has been on our radar for several years now. Following his departure from Rockstar Games, Benzies established Build a Rocket Boy and collaborated with the developers of Hitman, IO Interactive, to bring MindsEye to life. Touted as a AAA action-adventure game, MindsEye is also set to debut the Everywhere platform, which we previously described as a "big-budget Roblox" after visiting their studio in 2024.

While the new trailer did not delve into the Everywhere platform, MindsEye itself promises to be a thrilling new entry in the action genre from one of its most renowned creators. The game is slated for release in the summer of 2025.
