Instead of Kuttenberg City, embark on the side quest "Hush, My Darling" from Miskowitz in the Kuttenberg Region, located to the west of the city. This quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* will put your blacksmithing skills to the test.

Speak with Martha

Your journey begins in Miskowitz, a small village southeast of the forge. Find Martha in the house connected to the forge. Engage her in conversation and inquire if she needs assistance. When she mentions needing a skilled blacksmith, respond with, "I’m a blacksmith! I’d be glad to help," to initiate the side quest, "Hush, My Darling."

If you haven't yet, you can also speak with the bailiff about Matthew from the Dry Devil's group, who stands conveniently next to Martha, using this as another marker to locate her.

Craft Horseshoes

Screenshot by The Escapist. You might already have the necessary items for this quest. You need two Farmer’s Horseshoes, which you may have crafted earlier while leveling your blacksmithing skills. If not, gather two pieces of Scrap Metal and head to the forge to create them. Once the horseshoes are ready, return to Martha.

Find Victoria

Screenshot by The Escapist. Martha directs you to deliver the horseshoes to Victoria, who lives a bit to the south of the forge. Upon reaching her house, you'll find it eerily empty with blood visible when you open the first door on the left. Investigate the blood when prompted during "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Return to Martha with this unsettling discovery, and she'll suggest heading to Sigismund’s camp to search for Victoria.

Sigismund’s Camp

Screenshot by The Escapist. The camp lies south of Opatowitz. If you're still on the hunt for Matthew from the Dry Devil quest, you might encounter him on the path to the camp. At the camp, find the blacksmith and inquire about Victoria. He'll mention a soldier named Black who took an interest in her. To locate Black, head to the infirmary tent, where he's currently ill.

Screenshot by The Escapist. Black requires a Digestive Potion to treat his food poisoning before he'll assist you. If you don't have one, craft it and return to administer it. Wait a couple of hours for the potion to take effect before he'll share more information.

Black reveals that he said some things to Victoria, suggesting she might have ventured into the woods to the east. Follow the quest marker to find her sitting on a stump. Engage in conversation with Victoria about her situation. Your dialogue choices here won't affect future events, but if you made Black promise to look after her, you can convey that message, giving her hope for the future.

This conversation marks the completion of "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. From here, you can continue with the main quests or explore other side quests like "In Vino Veritas."
