Nothing excites Pokemon fans more than new creatures to collect, and Pokemon Sleep players have just been treated to exactly that. Starting December 3, both Sneasel and Weavile can be befriended in Pokemon Sleep - if you know where to look.

Where Can You Find Sneasel and Weavile in Pokemon Sleep?

True to their Ice/Dark typing from the main series, Sneasel and Weavile will appear at Snowdrop Tundra in Pokemon Sleep. However, they'll be classified solely as Dark types in this game since dual typing isn't implemented.

The new Pokemon will also be available on Greengrass Isle, the starter island, ensuring all players can research these newcomers even if they haven't unlocked Snowdrop Tundra yet.

If you're currently researching on another island but want a chance to meet these Pokemon, use the EZ Travel Ticket item to switch to one of their spawn locations.

Sneasel and Weavile Sleep Patterns in Pokemon Sleep

Both Sneasel and its evolved form Weavile will be classified as Dozing sleep types. This means they're more likely to appear on Snowdrop Tundra or Greengrass Isle when your sleep type is Dozing.

As the base evolution, Sneasel will be easier to encounter during Sleep Research. Evolution to Weavile requires 80 Sneasel Candy plus a Razor Claw item. You'll still need to find Weavile in the wild to complete its Sleep Research data.

While knowing how to find Sneasel is important, their in-game benefits matter too. As Dark types, they'll collect Wiki Berries, making them valuable for Snowdrop Tundra teams.
