"Guide: Securing the Ice Staff in Black Ops 6 Zombies' Tomb"
With the exciting addition of a new *Call of Duty* Zombies map comes the return of a fan-favorite Wonder Weapon from *Black Ops II*: the Staff of Ice, now featured in *Black Ops 6* Zombies. Here's a detailed guide on how to obtain the Ice Staff in The Tomb.
Can You Get the Staff of Ice from the Mystery Box on The Tomb? Answered
Originally introduced in *Black Ops II* Zombies, the Staff of Ice required players to collect three parts to assemble it. In *Black Ops 6*, the process remains similar, but fans will be thrilled to know that the Staff of Ice can also be obtained directly from the Mystery Box in The Tomb. However, this method depends heavily on luck. While using the “Wunderbar!” GobbleGum can slightly improve your chances, it's no guarantee, especially with the Ray Gun also in the mix. For a sure-fire way to get the Staff of Ice, follow our guide to build it yourself.

How To Get the Staff of Ice Monocle on The Tomb in Black Ops 6 Zombies
To start your journey with the Staff of Ice, you'll need to collect three parts. The first and easiest part to obtain is the Monocle. This item is dropped by the first Shock Mimic you kill in a match on The Tomb. Simply kill the Shock Mimic, approach the Monocle, and use the interact button to add it to your inventory.

The next two parts—the Head Piece and the Staff itself—involve similar challenges. You can obtain them in any order.
For the Staff of Ice's Head Piece, navigate to the Neolithic Catacombs section of the map. Locate the wall with the cave painting and prepare to shoot the lit sections of the wall. If the wall isn't illuminated, use the Dark Aether lanterns scattered around the area. Shoot a lantern with purple fire, and after a round or so, the fire will move to another lantern. Once the lantern nearest the painted wall is lit, the symbols on the wall will become visible.
If the lanterns haven't spawned yet, visit the Dark Aether Nexus and return. If they still don't appear, you may need to progress a few rounds.
Shoot the symbols in the correct order, which corresponds to Roman Numerals from I to X. This step is forgiving; if you miss, you can resume from your last correct shot. Use a bullet weapon to avoid complications from splash or explosive damage.
Once you've correctly completed this step, a constellation on the wall will light up, triggering a lockdown. Survive the onslaught of zombies and special enemies, and you'll be able to collect the Staff of Ice Head Piece from the mural and constellation wall.

The final piece, the Staff itself, is obtained in the Tombs room. Again, shoot the lanterns until the purple fire reaches the lantern near the Bull Mural, with its head facing left, charging at Romans. This will illuminate the wall with Roman Numerals. Shoot them in ascending order from I to VIII. Completing this will also trigger a lockdown. Survive, and you'll find the Staff of Ice piece ready to be picked up.
How To Finish the Staff of Ice on The Tomb in Black Ops 6 Zombies
With all three parts in hand, head to the Dark Aether Nexus through the Door to Nowhere. Approach the large structure in the center and place the parts by holding the interact button. This action will trigger an intense wave of zombies, special, and possibly elite enemies trying to disrupt the assembly process. Defend the Staff of Ice long enough for it to be assembled, using perks, upgraded weapons, and strategic GobbleGums like Kill Joy and Free Fire to boost your effectiveness.
Once successfully defended, the Staff of Ice will be fully assembled and ready for you to wield.
And that's how you can obtain the Staff of Ice on The Tomb in *Black Ops 6* Zombies.
