The official announcement of a GUNDAM TCG has thrilled fans! A promotional video posted on September 27th on the official GUNDAM TCG X (formerly Twitter) account launched the "#GUNDAM" global TCG project. This exciting news coincides with the Mobile Suit Gundam 45th anniversary, celebrating 45 years of Gundam on television worldwide. The format (physical-only or with online play) remains unconfirmed.
Complete details will be revealed on October 3rd at 7 PM JST during Bandai's CARD GAMES Next Plan Announcement, livestreamed on Bandai's official YouTube channel. The event will feature popular actors Kanata Hongo and Kotoko Sasaki, and former TV Tokyo announcer Shohei Taguchi. Hongo, a passionate GUNPLA builder, previously participated in the GUNPLA 40th Anniversary Project (2020), showcasing his love for both GUNPLA and the Gundam franchise.
