Gyarados Plaza in Hiroshima Wows with Unique Charm
Pokemon Center Hiroshima Relocates, Unveils Gyarados Plaza
Pokemon Center Hiroshima will temporarily close in March 2025, reopening at a new location in April 2025. A new Gyarados Plaza will simultaneously launch in March.
New Location for Pokemon Center Hiroshima
The store's relocation to the second floor of Ekie, Hiroshima Station's north exit, is scheduled for around April 2025. Currently situated on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima's Main Building, the store's move marks a significant change after its opening in June 2015.
Gyarados Plaza Opens at Hiroshima Station
The "Gyarados Plaza by Pokemon Center Hiroshima" will debut on March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza within the new Minamoa building at Hiroshima Station. This playground features large Gyarados-themed play equipment. Initially, reservations will be required for access to the playground equipment. Details will be posted on the official Minamoa website.
Poke-lun TV Nationwide Event
To celebrate "Poke-lun TV" surpassing 1 million subscribers, a nationwide event will be held at Pokemon Centers across Japan (excluding Pokemon Stores, Pokemon Center Online, Pokemon Cafe, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokemon Cafe) from January 17th to February 16th, 2025. Participants can receive an original sticker by obtaining a password from a specific Poke-lun TV YouTube video (posted December 19th, 2024) and presenting it at any participating Pokemon Center.
Select Pokemon Centers (Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa) will also feature photo opportunities with Poke-lun TV hosts.
