The toy giant has unveiled an exciting new wave of action figures under the Marvel Gamerverse banner, bringing iconic characters to life with designs inspired by their classic 2D sprite aesthetics.

These figures will be available both as dynamic two-packs and standalone singles, depending on the size and scale of each character. The full Marvel vs. Capcom roster includes:

• Wolverine vs. Silver Samurai
• Psylocke vs. Thanos
• Captain America vs. Venom
• War Machine vs. Omega Red
• Gargantos (formerly known as Shuma-Gorath)
• Juggernaut

While most of these characters have appeared in the Marvel Legends line before (with the exception of Gargantos), these new versions are styled to reflect their vibrant and exaggerated looks from the classic arcade games. Wolverine features those iconic oversized claws and mask, Venom sports his authentic blue color scheme, and Psylocke demonstrates the high level of articulation that collectors have come to expect from this premium line.

Of course, this collection doesn’t include every character from the Marvel vs. Capcom universe—but fans can always explore previous Marvel Legends releases to complete their collections. Even rarer characters like Marrow and Blackheart have made appearances in the line over the years. For those craving the full Capcom side of the roster, Jada Toys’ Street Fighter line might just be the perfect complement for characters like Ryu and Chun-Li.

Preorders for the Fantastic Four: First Steps figures will become available on Hasbro Pulse and select retailers starting Friday, May 30 at 10am PT, with an official release scheduled for Summer 2025. Meanwhile, preorders for the Marvel Gamerverse: Marvel vs. Capcom figures will roll out across June 2025, with an expected arrival later this year during Fall 2025.
