Unfrozen has unveiled an exciting new gameplay trailer for Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era, highlighting key elements such as mechanics, units, and overall gameplay. This trailer gives fans a glimpse into the strategic depth of the game. Alongside the trailer, the studio announced the opening of registration for the closed beta test of the "Arena" mode. Enthusiasts can request access through the game’s Steam page, with testing scheduled from March 17 to March 28.

Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era is set to enter early access on Steam in Q2 2025. Upon launch, players will be able to dive into six distinct factions, explore three engaging single-player modes, and compete in three multiplayer modes. Ubisoft is taking on the publishing responsibilities for this eagerly awaited title.

In a recent update, the developers introduced the Dungeon faction, adding a rich array of units including troglodytes, dark elves, minotaurs, medusas, hydras, and dragons. These units are designed to bring unique dynamics to the battlefield, enhancing the game's strategic complexity.

The team at Unfrozen openly discussed the challenges they encountered while developing the Arena mode, specifically with balancing skills and heroes due to the mode's limited space and the absence of starting advantages. Despite these hurdles, they have successfully resolved these issues to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for players.
