IGN has exciting news for fans of Hollow Knight: Silksong—the highly anticipated game will be playable at Australia's national museum of screen culture, ACMI, in Melbourne starting from September 18, 2025. Developed by Team Cherry, a studio based in Adelaide, South Australia, Silksong has been a top contender on the Steam wishlist chart for years, captivating gamers worldwide with its long-awaited sequel status.

The game will be part of a special video game exhibition called Game Worlds, which not only allows visitors to play Silksong but also offers deep dives into the game's design and artistic direction. This includes an exploration of the hundreds of sprites that animate Hornet’s various movements and attacks, and the intricate logic behind the game’s most challenging boss fights.

Team Cherry started 2025 with a mysterious tease related to a chocolate cake recipe, sparking hopes among fans for a re-reveal in April.
