Honkai: Star Rail Dive into Penacony's Farewell in Version 2.7
Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7: "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn" Arrives December 4th!
The highly anticipated Version 2.7 update for Honkai: Star Rail, titled "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," launches on mobile devices December 4th. This update serves as the final chapter before the Astral Express journeys to the enigmatic Amphoreus, the Eternal Land.
Penacony's Farewell and New Characters
Version 2.7 concludes the Penacony storyline. Following Black Swan's suggestion, the crew prepares for their departure, reconnecting with old friends and sharing poignant moments before a memorable Grand Theater performance. This performance introduces two new characters: Sunday and Fugue.
Sunday, the former head of the Oak Family, aided by the mischievous Pepeshi, Wonweek, delivers a dazzling final act. As a 5-star Imaginary character, his Ultimate ability focuses on energy regeneration, bestowing the "Beatified" buff on a teammate and their summon.
Fugue, previously known as Tingyun, makes her debut after surviving the perilous events of Version 1.2. Rescued by Madam Ruan Mei of the Genius Society, Fugue is a 5-star Fire character specializing in breaking enemy defenses. Her Ultimate unleashes a fiery attack, decimating enemy Toughness and inflicting significant Fire DMG.

Version 2.7 brings back popular characters General Jing Yuan and Firefly in warp events, available during the first and second halves respectively.
A brand-new feature, the Party Car, is added to the Astral Express. This luxurious addition boasts a stylish marble bar, a robotic bartender, and the breathtaking backdrop of the infinite Cosmos.
Players can also personalize their Astral Express with the "Cosmic Home Décor Guide" event. Using Express Funds earned through tasks, players can furnish an empty storage room, creating cozy spaces like a bedroom and bathroom.
