InZOI developers are taking a short New Year's break, but project lead Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim offered a sneak peek at upcoming features before their departure. Here's what's in store:

• Facial Capture for Zois: Real-time facial capture for creating zois will be significantly streamlined for ease of use, exceeding initial expectations.

• Pets: While highly anticipated, pet ownership will not be available during the early access period.

• Tall Buildings: Buildings will be capped at 30 floors to optimize game performance, despite engine capabilities for taller structures.

• Gas Stations and Enhanced Combat: Gas stations will be featured, and the combat system has been overhauled based on player feedback. The initial "slap" mechanic has been replaced with a more robust and satisfying fighting system with clear win/lose conditions.

• Tutorial: A comprehensive tutorial will be included to onboard new players unfamiliar with the game's genre.

Krafton still aims for an early access release at the end of March, with no current plans for postponement.
