Reclaiming Your Horse

Your starting horse, Pebbles, can be retrieved. Travel to Semine in the south and speak with the horse trader. However, regaining Pebbles requires either a Groschen payment, persuasion, or intimidation. During my playthrough, adopting a more noble appearance (through acquiring new clothing) allowed me to persuade the trader without payment, though this slightly impacted my reputation. If persuasion fails, prepare to pay.

Stealing a Horse

Alternatively, you can steal a horse. While wild horses are rare, farms and stables offer opportunities. However, theft carries the risk of capture.

A viable option is the farmhouse near Vidlak Pond (west). The fishermen there possess two horses, easily mountable and rideable.

Subsequently, visit the Nomads' Camp (east of Vidlak Pond). The horse trainer there can teach you to saddle and tame your stolen horse (for a fee). However, riding the horse unsaddled is also possible.
