Activists have targeted Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 following the discovery of subpoenas within the game, sparking a campaign to cancel the project.

The game's recent attention stems from "agenda-driven" activists, including Grummz, fueled by reports of its ban in Saudi Arabia. Speculation about controversial content and "progressive" themes quickly spread online.

Developers faced online attacks and calls for a boycott. Efforts were made to discourage support for the game and its creators.

Warhorse Studios' PR manager, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, responded to the controversy, urging the public to trust the developers and not believe everything found online.

Stolz-Zwilling confirmed that review codes would be distributed "in the coming days" after the game achieved gold status in early December. These codes are anticipated to be released four weeks prior to launch, allowing streamers and reviewers ample time to prepare their content.

Interestingly, the first "final previews," based on review copies, are expected to surface a week later.
