Konami Digital Entertainment is celebrating a huge milestone this year: the 30th Anniversary of eFootball. A wave of exciting events is underway to honor this landmark occasion, including a global festival and the debut of legendary figures never before seen in the game.

Pelé is joining the game for the very first time. Revered as one of football’s greatest icons, Pelé now enters as an Epic player card—complete with two brand-new exclusive skills: Phenomenal Finish and Phenomenal Pass. No other player in the game has ever possessed these abilities. Pair him with legends like Johan Cruyff and Ferenc Puskás for an unforgettable lineup.

As part of the 30th Anniversary celebration, players who log in to eFootball during this period will receive an array of rewards. These include Focus Cards for Lionel Messi and Lamine Yamal, 10 Item Selectors, and an Epic Legends Assemble Contract. You’ll also unlock seven 30th Anniversary Chance Deal Contracts, a special 30th Anniversary Kit, plus Training Plans, eFootball Coins, EXP, and GP.

Additional rewards await in Tour Events and Challenge Events, where you can earn extra coins, contracts, EXP, and training items to further strengthen your squad.

Konami is also bringing the celebration into the real world!

On July 21st, 2025, the first-ever eFootball World Festival will take place at Belle Salle Shibuya Garden in Tokyo, Japan. This free event for fans will feature 30th Anniversary Live Stage Events with new content reveals and licensing updates.

The festival will also host the eFootball Championship 2025 World Finals, bringing together elite esports players like Ettorito97 from AC Milan and N_Apriamashvili from Inter Milan in a battle for the ultimate title. The event will be streamed live worldwide in nine languages.
