The White Wolf embarks on his final journey as production for The Witcher Season 5 is currently underway. Fans have been treated to new set photos, showcasing Liam Hemsworth stepping into the iconic role of Geralt de Rivia. These images, which surfaced on the fan-favorite site Redanian Intelligence, capture Hemsworth in full costume, complete with Geralt's signature long blonde hair. Alongside him, familiar faces like Meng'er Zhang as Milva and Joey Batey as Jaskier, who have been part of the series since Henry Cavill led the cast, are also featured.

Hemsworth was announced as Cavill's replacement for Season 4 and the concluding fifth season back in October 2022. The set photos also introduce new characters set to appear in Season 4 and continue into the final season, including the legendary actor Laurence Fishburne as Emiel Regis.

The leaked set photos have sparked speculation among fans that Season 5 might draw inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski's Tower of the Swallow, particularly the scenes where Geralt encounters beekeepers and is directed toward druids. However, with Season 4 yet to be released, the plot remains open to numerous possibilities, leaving fans eager to see how the story unfolds.

Cavill isn't the only actor to depart from the series; Kim Bodnia, who played Geralt's mentor Vesemir, will not return for Season 4 due to scheduling conflicts. Netflix has yet to announce Bodnia's replacement or an official release date for Season 4, keeping fans in suspense as they await further updates.
