EA is reportedly planning to bring many of its popular games to the Nintendo Switch 2. During a recent financial call, CEO Andrew Wilson hinted at the release of several titles, specifically mentioning the lucrative Madden and EA SPORTS FC franchises, as well as The Sims, as having the potential for strong performance on the new console. Wilson highlighted the opportunity to reach new players with these established IPs on a new platform. While specifics weren't detailed, the expectation is that the Switch 2's release will benefit EA significantly.

The prospect of Madden and EA SPORTS FC on the Switch 2 has generated considerable interest. Past releases have been "legacy" versions, but with the Switch 2's increased power, future iterations may offer closer feature parity with their PlayStation, Xbox, and PC counterparts.

The Switch 2's game lineup is gradually taking shape. Numerous third-party titles are rumored, including Civilization 7 (with Firaxis noting interest in the reported Joy-Con mouse mode), various Nacon published titles (Greedfall 2, Test Drive Unlimited, RoboCop: Rogue City), and the highly anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong. Nintendo itself has confirmed a new Mario Kart is in development, with further details expected at a Nintendo Direct in April.
