Marvel's upcoming Vision Quest series is reportedly resurrecting a villain from the very first MCU film, Iron Man.

Deadline reports that Faran Tahir will reprise his role as Raza Hamidmi al-Wazar, the Afghan terrorist leader who held Tony Stark captive in the opening scenes of 2008's Iron Man. This marks a return after nearly two decades, following his betrayal by Obadiah Stane.

Al-Wazar's reappearance, similar to Samuel Sterns' return in Captain America: Brave New World, is a significant MCU comeback. While details about Vision Quest, starring Paul Bettany as White Vision, remain scarce, including its release date, the series will explore this character's storyline following the events of WandaVision.

Vision Quest might also delve into other overlooked MCU elements, much like Deadpool & Wolverine explored the less conventional aspects of the former Fox Marvel universe.

Adding to the intrigue, James Spader is also rumored to return as Ultron for the first time since Avengers: Age of Ultron. However, much of the series' plot remains shrouded in mystery.
