In Marvel Rivals, while damage-dealing (DPS) units often steal the spotlight, strategic support characters are vital for team survival. This guide ranks the seven available support units, focusing on their healing and buffing capabilities. While Jeff the Land Shark enjoys popularity, he's not the only, or necessarily the best, option.

S Tier: Top-Tier Support

• Mantis: Mantis excels at healing and damage buffing. She consumes orbs to apply buffs, and these orbs regenerate automatically, with headshots providing instant recovery. While fragile, her effectiveness increases with headshot accuracy, making her suitable for both beginners and experienced players. Her damage output is limited, however.

• Luna Snow: Luna Snow offers a balanced approach, healing allies while also dealing damage. Her Ice Art ability boosts both healing and damage, and her Ultimate, Fate of Both Worlds, provides AoE healing or damage. Her ease of use and focus on positioning make her ideal for new players, though her primary function remains support.

A Tier: Strong Contenders

• Adam Warlock: Adam Warlock's standout ability is his multi-teammate revive. His Ultimate, Quantum Zone, brings back fallen allies with temporary invincibility, even allowing multiple revives of the same character. He also heals with Avatar Life Stream and shares damage with Soul Bond, offering a small heal-over-time effect.

• Cloak & Dagger: Cloak & Dagger offers a unique blend of support and damage. Cloak's attacks can heal or damage, with self-healing capabilities. Dagger focuses on damage and applying Vulnerability debuffs. Dark Teleportation boosts ally movement speed and provides invisibility.

B Tier: Solid but Less Dominant

• Jeff the Land Shark: While popular, Jeff's healing is less potent than higher-tier characters, struggling in extended battles. His simple kit pales in comparison to Mantis and Warlock. A good choice for beginners seeking a straightforward support role, but his Ultimate is more for entertainment.

• Loki: Loki's effectiveness hinges on player skill and strategy. He heals and summons decoys that mimic his actions, requiring precise positioning. His Ultimate allows shapeshifting into any hero for 15 seconds, offering unique tactical possibilities.

• Rocket Raccoon: Unlike other supports, Rocket focuses on utility and damage, offering revives with his Respawn Machine. He's more of a hybrid DPS/support, his performance dependent on player skill. His small size makes him a vulnerable target.
