Marvel Rivals Team Addressing FPS Pay-to-Win Exploit
Marvel Rivals's initial launch was a resounding success, boasting hundreds of thousands of concurrent Steam players, while simultaneously impacting Overwatch 2's player base. However, a significant and frustrating bug has emerged.
Previously, we reported on a performance-related issue affecting low-end PCs. Players experienced reduced hero movement speed and damage output at low frame rates. The developers have acknowledged this bug and are actively working on a resolution.

Unfortunately, a complete fix is proving complex. Therefore, Marvel Rivals Season 1 will initially feature a temporary patch improving movement mechanics. Resolving the damage reduction issue will require more time, with no definitive timeframe for a complete solution currently available.
Our recommendation remains: prioritize maximum frame rate over graphical fidelity in Marvel Rivals to avoid in-game disadvantages.
