Let's revisit our Marvel Snap (Free) deck-building strategies for this month's update. Last month's meta felt relatively balanced, but a new season brings new cards and potential shake-ups. Remember, today's winning deck might be obsolete tomorrow! These are helpful guidelines, but not the only approach.

These decks represent top-tier strategies, assuming a complete card collection. I'll highlight five leading decks, plus a couple of more accessible and fun options.

The Young Avengers cards haven't drastically altered the meta. Kate Bishop remains strong, and Marvel Boy boosts 1-cost decks, but others haven't had a significant impact. However, the new Amazing Spider-Man and the Activate ability are game-changers, promising a vastly different meta next month.

Kazar and Gilgamesh Domination

Cards: Ant-Man, Nebula, Squirrel Girl, Dazzler, Kate Bishop, Marvel Boy, Caeira, Shanna, Kazar, Blue Marvel, Gilgamesh, Mockingbird

Surprisingly, Kazoo decks are now top contenders thanks to the Young Avengers. The core strategy remains familiar: deploy low-cost cards and then amplify them with Kazar and Blue Marvel. Marvel Boy provides additional buffs, and Gilgamesh thrives in this boosted environment. Kate Bishop fills gaps for Dazzler and reduces Mockingbird's cost. A powerful, yet potentially temporary, top performer.

Silver Surfer's Enduring Reign, Part II

Cards: Nova, Forge, Cassandra Nova, Brood, Silver Surfer, Killmonger, Hope Summers, Nocturne, Sebastian Shaw, Copycat, Absorbing Man, Gwenpool

Silver Surfer remains a dominant force, with minor adjustments for balance changes and new cards. The classic Nova/Killmonger combo provides early boosts. Forge enhances Brood's clones, Gwenpool buffs cards in hand, Shaw gains power with buffs, Hope provides extra energy, Cassandra Nova drains opponent's power, and the Surfer/Absorbing Man combo delivers powerful finishes. Copycat replaces Red Guardian as a versatile tool.

Spectrum and Man-Thing's Ongoing Power

Cards: Wasp, Ant-Man, Howard the Duck, Armor, US Agent, Lizard, Captain America, Cosmo, Luke Cage, Ms. Marvel, Man-Thing, Spectrum

The Ongoing archetype also holds a top spot. This deck features cards with Ongoing abilities, which Spectrum powerfully buffs on the final turn. The Luke Cage/Man-Thing synergy is potent, and Luke protects cards from US Agent. This deck is relatively easy to play, and Cosmo's utility is likely to increase.

Discard Dracula's Reign of Terror

Cards: Blade, Morbius, The Collector, Swarm, Colleen Wing, Moon Knight, Corvus Glaive, Lady Sif, Dracula, Proxima Midnight, MODOK, Apocalypse

This classic Apocalypse-style Discard deck features Moon Knight, enhanced by his recent buff. Morbius and Dracula are the key cards, aiming for a final turn with only Apocalypse in hand. Dracula consumes Apocalypse, creating a Mega-Drac, while Morbius benefits from the discarding. Collector can add unexpected power.

The Unstoppable Force of Destruction

Cards: Deadpool, Niko Minoru, X-23, Carnage, Wolverine, Killmonger, Deathlok, Attuma, Nimrod, Knull, Death

The Destroy deck remains largely unchanged, with Attuma's recent buff making him a valuable addition. Focus on destroying Deadpool and Wolverine, gain extra energy with X-23, and finish with a Nimrod swarm or Knull. Arnim Zola's absence reflects the increasing prevalence of counter-measures.

Darkhawk's Resurgence

Cards: The Hood, Spider-Ham, Korg, Niko Minoru, Cassandra Nova, Moon Knight, Rockslide, Viper, Proxima Midnight, Darkhawk, Blackbolt, Stature

This deck utilizes Darkhawk's strengths, combining him with Korg and Rockslide to add cards to the opponent's deck. It also includes disruptive cards like Spider-Ham and Cassandra Nova, along with discard effects to reduce Stature's cost.

Budget-Friendly Kazar

Cards: Ant-Man, Elektra, Ice Man, Nightcrawler, Armor, Mister Fantastic, Cosmo, Kazar, Namor, Blue Marvel, Klaw, Onslaught

A beginner-friendly version of the Kazar deck, this offers a less reliable but valuable learning experience. It retains the Kazar/Blue Marvel combo, adding Onslaught for a powerful boost.

This month's meta is interesting, with classic decks returning to prominence. However, the new Activate ability and cards will likely shift the landscape significantly by October. Happy snapping!
