Week 2 of the Blast from the Past event in The Sims 4 is in full swing, challenging players to embark on a thrilling quest to unravel a mystery. One task, however, has proven to be a stumbling block for many: studying a Historical Display. Here's how to complete this quest and keep your adventure moving forward.

In Week 2 of the Blast from the Past event, one of the quests requires you to study a Historical Display at a museum. If you're a seasoned The Sims 4 player, locating your local museum should be a breeze. For newcomers, simply open your map and look for a building marked by an icon with pillars. There are four default museums, but the most convenient ones to visit are Municipal Muses in Willow Creek and The Future's Past in Oasis Springs, as they are close to other tasks in the event.

Once you've arrived at a museum, it's time to delve inside and begin your study. In The Sims 4, both paintings and sculptures qualify as Historical Displays. Choose the one that catches your eye, click on it, and select the "View" option. You'll know you've successfully completed the challenge when you see the Emit icon appear.

Despite the simplicity of the task, some players have encountered issues, particularly with mods interfering with the "View" button's functionality. Many have resorted to removing all mods to progress through the event, though not always successfully. Hopefully, EA is addressing this glitch, but until a fix is released, the best strategy is to attempt studying multiple items across various museums.
