HoYoVerse's parent company, MiHoYo, is keeping busy! Their upcoming game, previously known as Astaweave Haven, has a new name: Petit Planet. Even before a proper reveal, the game is undergoing significant changes.

If you're a fan of gacha games or RPGs, you might have already heard whispers of Astaweave Haven. While official details from MiHoYo are scarce, it appears this new title will be a departure from their typical open-world gacha adventures. Instead of another gacha RPG, Petit Planet looks to be a life-simulation or management game, reminiscent of titles like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley.

The name change itself is intriguing. "Petit Planet" sounds charming and subtly hints at the game's likely genre.

Release Date?

Currently, there's no official release date. Astaweave Haven received Chinese approval for PC and mobile in July. However, HoYoVerse registered the name "Petit Planet" on October 31st, and it's now awaiting approval in the US and UK.

Given MiHoYo's track record (remember the quick turnaround between Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero?), we can hope that approval will quickly follow, and we'll soon get a glimpse of Petit Planet's gameplay.
