Digimon COLOR Monster Hunter 20th Edition: Pre-Orders Open, Global Release Pending

To mark two decades of Monster Hunter, Capcom's acclaimed action-RPG franchise has teamed up with Digimon to release the "Digimon COLOR Monster Hunter 20th Edition" V-Pet. This special edition features designs based on the iconic Rathalos and Zinogre, priced at 7,700 Yen (approximately $53.2 USD) before additional charges.

These collectible devices boast a vibrant color LCD screen, advanced UV printing, and a convenient rechargeable battery. Users can customize background designs and utilize the "Cold Mode" feature to temporarily halt monster growth and stat changes. A backup system ensures game progress and monster data are securely saved.

Currently, pre-orders are exclusively available through Bandai's Japanese online store. International buyers should anticipate extra shipping costs.

Unfortunately, there's no official word yet on a global release. Demand has been incredibly high, with the initial pre-order batch selling out shortly after launch.
