Once you're in, you'll dive into uninterrupted Elder Dragon Interceptions featuring the elusive Chameleos. No more waiting between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons—your hunt will be seamless and action-packed. Plus, you'll have the chance to earn some exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear to show off your prowess.

The event also introduces Event Exchange Hubs, with two hubs available during the Spring Hunt. The Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub will be open from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. During the event, from May 19th to May 25th, you can collect tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons. These tokens can then be exchanged for valuable items such as a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more, adding to your arsenal and enhancing your gear.

Chameleos, known for its stealthy tactics and the ability to emit a fog that impairs visibility, will be the star of the show starting May 24th, 2025. You'll have the chance to engage in Elder Dragon Interceptions and face this vanishing menace head-on. If you're ranked 100 or above, you can encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, which begins at 9:00 a.m. on May 24th. To maximize your chances, arm yourself with weapons effective against Fire, Dragon, and Blast, as Chameleos is particularly vulnerable to these elements.

Defeating Chameleos will reward you with materials to forge the new Mizuha Set armour. This set comes with the Chameleos Venomist skill, which halves the duration of poison and venom effects on you and makes it easier to inflict poison on your targets. The weapons you can craft from Chameleos materials are diverse, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow.
