Netflix Adaptation to Unleash 'D&D Universe' in Live-Action Series
Netflix is developing a live-action Dungeons & Dragons series based on the Forgotten Realms setting, according to Deadline. The project, one of Netflix's largest fantasy investments, will be helmed by Shawn Levy (Deadpool, Wolverine), with Drew Crevello (WeCrashed) serving as writer and showrunner. The series, currently in development, has the potential to launch a larger D&D universe on the streaming platform. While negotiations were lengthy, the project is now moving forward.
