Netflix is adapting the acclaimed video game Sifu into a feature film. Initially announced in 2022 as a collaboration between Story Kitchen and Sloclap (the game's developer), the project has significantly expanded its production team. Deadline reports that T.S. Nowlin (known for the Maze Runner franchise and Netflix's Project Adam) has joined to write the screenplay. While Derek Kolstad's involvement remains uncertain, Chad Stahelski (director of the John Wick films) and his company, 87Eleven Entertainment, will serve as executive producers. Stahelski is also attached to the Ghost of Tsushima adaptation.
