Nintendo Alarm Launch Delayed in Japan

Japan's General Alarmo Sale Postponed
Nintendo Japan announced on its website that the general sale of the Alarmo, initially scheduled for February 2025, is postponed indefinitely due to production and inventory challenges. The impact on international stock remains unclear, with a global public launch currently planned for March 2025.
In the interim, a pre-order system will be implemented exclusively for Japanese Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, starting mid-December with shipments in early February 2025. The precise pre-order commencement date will be announced separately.
Nintendo's Popular Alarm Clock
Launched globally in October, the Alarmo, an interactive alarm clock featuring music from popular Nintendo franchises (Super Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, Splatoon, RingFit Adventure, and more via updates), quickly gained immense popularity. This unexpected demand led Nintendo to halt online orders, transition to a lottery system, and experience complete sell-outs in Japanese and New York Nintendo stores.
