A recent video tour by Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of Mario, gives a glimpse into Nintendo's new museum, celebrating the company's rich history spanning over a century.

Opening its doors on October 2nd, 2024, in Kyoto, Japan, Nintendo's new museum offers a comprehensive look at the company's legacy. Built on the site of Nintendo's original Hanafuda playing card factory (established in 1889), the two-story museum showcases a vast collection of artifacts and products that defined Nintendo's journey. A welcoming Mario-themed plaza greets visitors.The museum journey begins with a display of Nintendo's diverse product line, from early board games and RC cars to the Color TV-Game consoles of the 1970s. Unexpected items, like the "Mamaberica" baby stroller, highlight Nintendo's broader product history. The evolution of iconic franchises, such as Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda, is also featured.
