Nintendo has exciting news for gaming fans: pre-orders for the much-anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 will officially start in the U.S. on April 24, 2025. The original price of $449.99 and the launch date of June 5 will remain unchanged, ensuring that fans know exactly what to expect. This announcement was shared directly on Nintendo's website, where they also mentioned that due to shifts in market conditions, prices for Switch 2 accessories might see some adjustments from those initially announced on April 2. Nintendo also indicated that future price adjustments for any of their products could occur, based on ongoing market dynamics.

In addition to maintaining the base console price, Nintendo confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will stay at $499.99. Both the physical and digital versions of Mario Kart World will continue to be priced at $79.99, while Donkey Kong Bananza will remain at $69.99 at launch.
