Nvidia's DLSS 4: 8X Performance Boost with Multi-Frame Generation

Nvidia's CES 2025 announcement of DLSS 4 for the GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs marks a significant leap in gaming performance. This latest iteration introduces Multi-Frame Generation (MFG), a technology capable of generating up to three additional frames per rendered frame, resulting in an impressive 8X performance increase. This allows for 4K gaming at 240 FPS with full ray tracing enabled.

DLSS 4 leverages advanced AI models, including the first real-time application of transformer-based AI in graphics.
