If your first look at The Obelisk reminds you of Ultimate: Underworld, you’re not alone. Its grid-based, first-person exploration pulls you deep into a dungeon, chasing loot, XP, and glory. With four adventurers by your side, you’ll face all kinds of monsters and obstacles.

The Obelisk features a charming low-poly aesthetic that draws you in immediately—making it all the more disappointing to spot AI-generated artifacts, like the character portraits. While I won’t dismiss it outright for this, it’s a shame it was deemed necessary.
