Pandemic Sim Sequel 'After Inc' Debuts at Bargain Price

尽管《After Inc.》的设定比其前作《瘟疫公司》和《叛逆公司》更为乐观，但Vaughn仍对2美元的定价表示担忧。他的顾虑源于手游市场充斥着免费游戏和微交易。然而，他们最终还是决定采用这一策略，其信心源于前作的成功经验。
“我们之所以能够考虑发行一款付费游戏，唯一的原因就是我们拥有《瘟疫公司》和《叛逆公司》这两款成功的作品，它们能帮助玩家找到我们的游戏，并证明手游市场仍然对策略性强的游戏有需求。如果没有《瘟疫公司》的成功做铺垫，我认为任何游戏，无论质量多高，都很难被玩家注意到。”
Ndemic Creations承诺所有购买的内容都无需额外付费。在App Store页面上，开发者提到游戏中没有“消耗性微交易”，并补充道：“扩展包是一次购买，永久畅玩”，保证玩家的游玩体验不会因额外付费而受影响。
目前，《After Inc.》在App Store付费榜上排名第五，紧随《瘟疫公司》和《星露谷物语》之后。该游戏在Google Play上的评分也高达4.77分（满分5分）。同时，名为《After Inc. Revival》的抢先体验版也将于2025年登陆Steam，将这款游戏带给PC玩家。

《After Inc.》是一款融合了模拟经营元素的“迷你”4X大型策略游戏，玩家需要在《瘟疫公司》事件之后重建人类社会。在遍布现代文明残骸的英国，玩家需要在一个充满生机和活力的后世界末日环境中建立多个定居点。
游戏中，废墟提供了重要的建筑材料，如木材和废金属，用于扩张、创建和维护定居点。玩家可以建造农场和木材厂等建筑来重启人类文明。提供基本服务对于保持居民的幸福和营养也至关重要。此外，玩家可以选择五位领导者（Steam版有十位），每位领导者都有不同的能力来领导这些定居点。
然而，危险正在逼近。僵尸在世界各地游荡，玩家必须清除它们才能确保资源安全收集和定居点扩张。但拥有足够的资源和人力，玩家就能扭转乾坤，夺回世界。Vaughn向玩家保证：“没有什么问题是几根钉子加个板球棍解决不了的！”
