Pandemic Sim Sequel 'After Inc' Debuts at Bargain Price

尽管《After Inc.》的设定比其前作《瘟疫公司》和《叛逆公司》更为乐观，但Vaughn仍对2美元的定价表示担忧。他的顾虑源于手游市场充斥着免费游戏和微交易。然而，他们最终还是决定采用这一策略，其信心源于前作的成功经验。
“我们之所以能够考虑发行一款付费游戏，唯一的原因就是我们拥有《瘟疫公司》和《叛逆公司》这两款成功的作品，它们能帮助玩家找到我们的游戏，并证明手游市场仍然对策略性强的游戏有需求。如果没有《瘟疫公司》的成功做铺垫，我认为任何游戏，无论质量多高，都很难被玩家注意到。”
Ndemic Creations承诺所有购买的内容都无需额外付费。在App Store页面上，开发者提到游戏中没有“消耗性微交易”，并补充道：“扩展包是一次购买，永久畅玩”，保证玩家的游玩体验不会因额外付费而受影响。
目前，《After Inc.》在App Store付费榜上排名第五，紧随《瘟疫公司》和《星露谷物语》之后。该游戏在Google Play上的评分也高达4.77分（满分5分）。同时，名为《After Inc. Revival》的抢先体验版也将于2025年登陆Steam，将这款游戏带给PC玩家。

游戏中，废墟提供了重要的建筑材料，如木材和废金属，用于扩张、创建和维护定居点。玩家可以建造农场和木材厂等建筑来重启人类文明。提供基本服务对于保持居民的幸福和营养也至关重要。此外，玩家可以选择五位领导者（Steam版有十位），每位领导者都有不同的能力来领导这些定居点。
